Innersight Co-founder, Dr Eoin Hyde was awarded a Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Fellowsip. Featuring £60k grant funding, mentoring from the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Fellowship - which consists of some of the most successful and talented engineers from academia and business - and bespoke entrepreneurial training, this award provided key support to Innersight's business plan development. Eoin was embedded within King's College London's department of Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Sciences for the duration of the fellowship.
Awarded an NIHR i4i Connect grant to fund one retrospective study to demonstrate how virtual 3D models can impact the surgical planning and patient education journey, and one prospective feasibility study demonstrating Innersight3D is acceptable to patients to assist their surgical team.
Collaborating with the Transaltional Imaging Group at University College London towards improved techniques of automated medical image segmentation, Innersight were one of 16 projects 16 projects selected for MedCity's 'Collaborate to Innovate' programme.
